Training Hotel Employees to Stop Trafficking
Michigan is one of the top states for human trafficking, but the Michigan Lodging and Tourism Association is looking to change that. It’s working with a group called Safeguarding Adolescents from Exploitation, or the Safe Action Project. The goal is to train hotel employees to spot the warning signs.

If our society is to truly eradicate human trafficking, it is essential that the hotel industry recognize the central role it plays in not only responding to modern slavery, but preventing it in the first place.
