ADRIAN — A co-defendant in an alleged case of human trafficking in Adrian was charged Monday in Lenawee County District Court.Kayla Young-Cooke, 28, of Adrian is charged with two counts of human trafficking, one involving involuntary servitude of a minor involved in commercial sex acts and the other involving forced labor of a minor, commercial sex acts and serious injury. A 35-year-old Sterling Heights man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of minor sex trafficking.
